The matcha sourcing partner that says what it is — and what it isn't.
VIRICHA is a founder-led matcha brand built around one origin: Tongren, Guizhou. We sell three grades — ceremonial, beverage, and baking — to cafes, bakeries, distributors, and private-label buyers internationally.
Founder story coming soon. Until then, the four sections below tell you what we do, how we name supply-chain roles, and what we will not compromise on.
What we do
VIRICHA coordinates China-origin matcha samples and supplier document checks for cafes, HoReCa distributors, private-label buyers, and food manufacturers. For each inquiry, we confirm the intended use, target volume, required documents, and importer responsibilities before presenting a supplier lot or trial order.
Every order ships with the importer-ready document pack: COA per batch, supplier license, halal scope where applicable, bilingual labels, and origin documents. No surprises at customs.
The supply chain, named by role
| Role | Who owns it | What must be verified |
|---|---|---|
| Production | Screened tea processor or powder supplier for the inquiry | Business license, food production scope, batch ID, process description, sample-to-bulk consistency |
| Documents | Supplier, laboratory, certifier, or export partner | COA scope, pesticide/heavy-metal tests, certificate holder, certificate validity, matching batch or facility |
| Export | Licensed Chinese export company or logistics partner | Invoice, packing list, export declaration path, origin document needs, shipment terms |
| Import | Buyer, UAE/KSA importer, distributor, or broker | Local product registration, label review, customs clearance, food authority requirements |
Founder
VIRICHA was founded in 2026 by a single operator working out of Wuhan, China. The founder spent prior years in software and AI engineering before building VIRICHA as a document-first sourcing operation. For now, buyer due diligence starts with direct email or WhatsApp contact, clear supplier-role disclosure, and document scope checks before any trial order.
We are deliberately not putting up a stock founder portrait or inflated company bio. Until the commercial identity is fully public, the email and WhatsApp on /contact are the direct founder contact path.
What we will not compromise on
- Document scope before claims. We do not present halal, organic, EU MRL, or factory claims unless the document holder, product scope, and validity are clear.
- Sample-to-order traceability. We keep the sample code, supplier lot, and requested test scope tied together before discussing a volume order.
- No fake factory story. If production is done by a partner supplier, the buyer should know that role split.
- Importer responsibility stays local. We can support documents and label data, but the UAE/KSA importer or broker owns product registration and customs.
Documents we ask suppliers for
These are not VIRICHA-owned certifications unless explicitly stated. They are supplier, lab, certifier, or export-partner documents that must be checked for scope before use.
- Business license and food production scope
- Batch COA with agreed pesticide, heavy-metal, and microbiology items
- Halal certificate where applicable, checked against certifier and product scope
- Organic, HACCP, ISO, or other certificates only when the buyer requires them
- Commercial invoice, packing list, label data, and origin documents as needed
What we do not do
- Retail / D2C sales — we are focused on B2B validation
- Borrowed certificates presented as our own
- Generic "factory direct" language when the supplier role is different
- Importer-of-record promises outside China
